This paper introduces a novel approach to password management using Shamir’s Secret Sharing scheme. The methodology involves generating and distributing private key shares, enhancing password security by requiring multiple shares to reconstruct the original key. The system ensures secure password storage through encryption and facilitates robust password resets. By leveraging Shamir’s Secret Sharing, compromised entities cannot breach user privacy, offering a paradigm shift in digital trust.
