Design of Decision Support Systems with Neural Networks in Biomedical Data Analysis

In this paper an approach is presented for the design of decision support systems with elements of Artificial Intelligence based on neural network classification of toxicological data. Precision and reliability are the top requirements of healthcare systems. The components of the DSS are discussed in detail as well as the possible workflows that will conform to current practices. The application of an $\mathrm{AI} / \mathrm{ML}$ component as well as system improvement propositions on new data is discussed. Experimental results are provided from training and evaluation of toxicological data.
