Cloud computing platforms have become integral to various industries, but ensuring the security of user data and system resources remains a challenge. This paper proposes a methodology to identify and mitigate unwanted traffic and packets, specifically duplicate packets, in cloud computing environments. The methodology involves creating an Intrusion-Finder and Detector (IF-AD) system that securely maintains user details and allocates secondary storage. To detect unwanted traffic, the methodology compares the file sizes of downloaded files with their originals, identifying any discrepancies as potential DDos. The RSA cryptography mechanism is employed for subsequent file transfers for enhanced security. The proposed methodology aims to strengthen the security posture of cloud-based systems by detecting and preventing unauthorized access and file modifications.
