DPSTM-PS Based Edge Network with MicroPython Based IoTs

The original Distributed Python Software Transactional Memory with the Pub/Sub facility (DPSTM-PS) performs transactions on in-memory transactional variables, initiated by publishers, and sends notifications to the corresponding subscribers. In this paper, we first extended the DPSTM-PS architecture with the MicroPython gateway, to create the edge network with the MicroPython based IoTs. Second, we developed the laboratory model of the MicroPython based IoT. Third, we successfully validated the new architecture on the wireless WiFi home network.
