Radio Environment Map Construction by Residual Kriging Based on Bayesian Hierarchical Model

In this paper, the Bayesian hierarchical model (BHM) for the propagation parameters based on the prior information and measurements is conducted, and posterior inferences are also processed by the Gibbs sampling. After the inference of pathloss component, shadow fading component is estimated via the Kriging interpolation in accordance with measurement residuals. What's more, the radio environment map (REM) is obtained by these two components. Finally, the superiority of proposed algorithm in accuracy to others can be evaluated by numerical simulation.
