Enhanced Algorithm Employing Radio Geometric Mean Labeling and Eccentricity for Encoding and Decoding.

B. T. Manjunath, K. N. Meera · 2023

Graph labeling involves assignment of integers to vertices or edges or both satisfying some mathematical condition. Cryptography is the science of secured communication by converting the information into cryptic form. In this work, an enhanced algorithm is put forth which merges graph labeling with symmetric and asymmetric crypto-systems to ensure security from adversarial attacks. The former is radio geometric mean labeling combined with the idea of eccentricity of vertices of a graph and latter is an amalgamation of remodeled shift cipher, affine cipher and enhanced asymmetric RSA cryptosystem for encoding and decoding of a message. The plain text is converted to vertex and edge sequence which the sender sends together with public key. The receiver decodes the plain text with private key and radio geometric mean labeled graph as cipher graph.
