WISC ‐ V AND Q ‐INTERACTIVE
Carlea D. M. Dries, Ron Dumont, Kathleen Viezel · 2017
This chapter presents a review of the Q-interactive platform for administering tests published by Pearson Education, Inc. Although Q-interactive provides accessibility to a wide range of assessment tools, the chapter focuses on the platform in general, and the WISC-V in particular. Pearson Education offers examiners two distinct computer and web-based systems: Q-interactive, a tablet-based digital platform for administering and scoring a vast array of Pearson assessment products, and Q-global, a web-based scoring and reporting platform. Use of this digital platform requires two Apple iPads. Digital versions of the WISC-V administration, scoring, and technical manuals are available under the Support tab on the website. Item-level scoring is easy to use and designed to minimize administration time and examiner error. Pearson provides sufficient security details on the HelloQ website.
