Designing a Node.js Project Architecture for RESTful Microservices

Microservices architecture is a software design approach in which an application is constructed as a set of autonomous, loosely coupled, and independent services. Each service is designed to perform a specific business function and can communicate with other services through well-defined APIs or messaging protocols. Microservices find application in diverse domains, including e-commerce, media, finance, healthcare, government, military, logistics, and gaming, among others. This research contains a short review of the state-of-the-art issues of microservice development and proposes an effective approach to project architecture composition created for Node.js microservice. This approach includes best practices used specifically for Node.js applications.
