Dynamic Analysis of a Malware Sample: Recognizing its Behavior using Forensic Application

The IT industry plays an important role in the current world, and so comes the risk of security associated with it. One of the primary reasons for security breaches includes the malware, which is a big issue that the world is facing today. Malware can be described as malicious software or program intended to cause harm or cause breach of data and security. It includes a variety of programs such as computer viruses, key-loggers, unpatched vulnerabilities, etc. This research paper is a detailed and comparative study of the behavior and characteristics of malware using the dynamic analysis methodology. The malware sample was analyzed through execution in a controlled environment to understand its mechanism. The analysis and results of this research provide valuable insights regarding the behavior and mechanism of malware.
