Vision-Based Squat Correctness System

Achieving visible results through working out requires consistent repetition of exercises. However, practicing improper posture during exercises such as squats or bench presses can cause significant and lasting damage. In addition, it reduces the effectiveness of the workout and improper muscle engagement increases the risk of injury. It is common for beginners to exercise with incorrect form, which can result in various problems such as muscle Strains or tears, joint pain and tendonitis. The paper proposes a method based on Pose estimation where it primarily uses keypoints of the body to identify incorrect posture and gives a feedback based on it.
