Collaborative Filtering Algorithm for Recommender Systems

Based on the analysis of common recommendation systems and data structure, a collaborative filtering algorithm is proposed. Steps to optimize the selected recommendation system were implemented, and the performance gain after applying the optimization was studied. The main practical contribution is that the implemented system is capable of efficiently using computing resources to create recommendations that help in sales and maintain customer loyalty.
