Initiatives in the Cloud for Government Company Comparing Cloud Providers

Cloud Computing model is a new advanced technological trend that allows applications to be outsourced over the Internet and offers promising business advantages for small and medium-sized companies. This study analyzes and evaluates the adoption of Cloud Computing in a case study, the public company Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones del Personal de la Administración Nacional de Electricidad de Paraguay (Caja ANDE). The concepts of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) are used. In this paper compares the estimated costs of the biggest cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services(AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform(GCP). It can be seen in the results of this research a return on investment higher than 45%. It is verified that Cloud Computing is a convenient model for the institution, in the current context of technologies, which was promoted during the pandemic, emphasizing the importance of online services through the Internet and supported by the new laws of Digital Services and Teleworking Modality.
