Intelligent Question-Answering System for Famous Towns and Villages Based on Knowledge Graph

With the growing attention from the public towards the preservation of famous historical and cultural towns and villages, there is an increasing demand for both technical aspects of preservation management and the demonstrative aspect of showcasing historical and cultural resources. Currently, knowledge of famous towns and villages is mainly obtained through independent information retrieval, resulting in low query efficiency and difficulties in uncovering hidden knowledge within these sites. To address these issues, we develop an intelligent question-answering system based on a knowledge graph for Chinese famous historical and cultural towns and villages. The question-answering system can effectively respond to user queries regarding the historical evolution, cultural characteristics, and preservation methods of famous towns and villages, providing a more convenient approach to the protection and inheritance of these cultural heritage sites.
