There is an increasing demand for efficient image encryption methods due to the progress in multimedia creation and sharing over insecure networks. At the same time, researchers are increasingly employing chaotic functions to introduce controlled chaos and generate pseudo-random bit streams for encryption keys and substitution boxes. This study suggests the adoption of a 3-stage image encryption scheme. The first stage implements the Hénon Chaotic Map, then an S-box is implemented using a Linear Congruential generator in the second stage, and the Lorenz system is implemented in the third stage. The performance assessment demonstrates excellent entropy values and yields positive results when various performance metrics are computed and compared to existing literature.
