Microservice is used to adopt a modular approach for a software project. A single microservice is implemented for unique functionality. Implementation of individual functionality is a challenging task for the development team but the advantage received is more over the challenges faced. In this chapter, we have explained the architecture and implementation of microservice. The platforms used for the development of microservice are also explained in detail.
