In the contemporary landscape of digital security, user authentication stands as a pivotal component in safeguarding sensitive information and digital assets.Traditional methods of authentication, primarily reliant on passwords or tokens, are prone to vulnerabilities and increasingly susceptible to sophisticated cyber threats.This necessitates the exploration and implementation of alternative, more robust authentication mechanisms.Behavioral biometrics, an emerging paradigm in the field of authentication, leverages distinct behavioral patterns exhibited by individuals to ascertain their identities.This paper examines the efficacy, viability, and intricacies of behavioral biometrics as a means of user authentication.The study scrutinizes a spectrum of behavioral biometric modalities encompassing keystroke dynamics, gait recognition, signature analysis, and voice recognition, among others.It analyzes the unique traits and characteristics inherent in these behavioral patterns and investigates their potential integration within diverse authentication frameworks.
