Any networking project should increase network infrastructure and user service. This chapter used Cisco Meraki cloud networking technology to design and prototype a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) to improve infrastructure and performance. The project&s;s feasible goals included developing the network using the Packet Tracer simulator and constructing a prototype. Meraki technology and dashboard made provisioning, setup, and deployment easy for inexperienced network administrators. Network administrators may remotely monitor network PCs using the prototype&s;s insight into user behavior, device use, and application usage patterns. At Barranquilla hospitals, Cisco Meraki technology makes cloud-based WLAN networks easy and flexible. Security and traffic efficiency may be the emphasis of Meraki-based cloud networking infrastructures.
