Quantum Network for Quantum Communication
K. S. Jasmine, Sohan Gowda C · 2023
Quantum networks represent a paradigm shift in communication because they harness the principles of quantum physics to make data transfer efficient and safe. This study presents a thorough examination of quantum networks, including their fundamental concepts, potential applications, and challenges. The fundamental concepts of quantum physics are first introduced, with a focus on superposition and entanglement as the two key elements that underlie quantum networking. Quantum nodes, channels, and repeaters—the structure and components of a quantum network—are discussed, with an emphasis on how they support long-distance quantum communication. By outlining the advantages and disadvantages of quantum networks, this paper aims to contribute to the growth of this revolutionary subject and to encourage additional research and innovation.
