Augmented reality is a technology that has recently experienced rapid development and is supported in its application on mobile devices by Google through ARCore technology, thus made it accessible and can be used for various purposes in a practical and affordable manner. The nature of augmented reality that adds digital information to data obtained from the real world, such as images taken through cameras, can be used to three dimensionally showcase products owned by a company to potential customers. This allows consumers to have a complete understanding of a product before purchasing it by allowing them to examine precise specifications, view internal components, and even mimic its functionality, which reduces buying anxiety and increases consumer trust. The case study method is utilized in this research to create a prototype application that is used on mobile devices to display the features, specifications, and appearance of three-dimensional objects based on the recognition of markers and the electronic product's appearance as captured by a live camera. Evaluation using cognitive walkthrough of the AR prototype revealed that it serves as immersive user guidelines for an electronic product, but there are still usability concerns that hinder users from completing tasks flawlessly. Participant comments highlight the reasons behind task failures and can be utilized to enhance application usability. Future research aims to analyze specific UI/UX components that contribute to failures and re-evaluate them with a larger sample size.
