IoT Edge Security Methods for Secure and Safe Oil and Gas Environments

We will describe key security principles, definitions, and objectives for the IoT Edge, followed by a set of well-known industry exploits in recent years that really emphasized the importance of security in the ongoing IoT digitalization and the consequences of those attacks. We will continue to discuss critical and foundational security technologies offered that are anchored down in silicon and hardware features, which helps in providing a stronger security posture to any architecture. Finally, we will be discussing how these discrete technologies and principles are applied in IoT Edge architecture, in which some of the existing challenges are yet to be overcome.
