On chemical trees with minimum augmented Zagreb index

Let G be a simple connected graph with order at least 3, vertex set V (G), and edge set E(G).For a vertex v ∈ V (G), denote by dG(v) the degree of v.The augmented Zagreb index of the graph G is denoted by AZ(G) and is defined asIn this paper, the minimum augmented Zagreb index of chemical trees of order n is determined.The extremal chemical trees of order n with the minimum augmented Zagreb index are also characterized.
