Semantic Models for Buildings Energy Management

The use of semantic models in building energy has been investigated. Energy management systems commonly consist of heterogeneous systems where it is highly desired to collect and manage challenging information uniformly. Throughout a building’s existence, a variety of data formats are available for the interchange of building-related information. The new ontology has been created to standardize building data management to address these issues. A semantic model for building energy management systems, taking into multiple domain relations, has been constructed. The proposed ontology’s implementation has been made.
