“They do it in order to clown around”: the uses of sexual knowledge and secrecy among children from elementary schools in Catalonia.

Abstract was submitted for the "Secrecy and Knowledge: Social and Cultural Responses to Secrecy" seminar at Newcastle University in 2022 but was ultimately rejected. The main argument was that Sexuality, as a type of public secrecy, is used by children to play with concealed knowledge. The seminar aimed to explore this particular use of sexuality among elementary school children in Catalonia.
