Sentiment Analysis of Social Media Comments Using Machine Learning Algorithms

Sentiment Analysis is a highly relevant and popular area in modern technology. It involves examining web-based data to identify and classify opinions in text. This paper provides an overview of sentiment analysis, its applications, methodologies, and challenges. Our study focuses on sentiment analysis in the Azerbaijani language, which has not been extensively studied before. We collected 52,000 comments from social media and used supervised machine learning algorithms to classify them into positive, negative, and neutral categories. Our methodology included data feature extraction, model training, and evaluation. Our findings contribute to the field and offer insights for future research and practical applications.
