Development Of SV UVM Testbench For Verification Of AMBA AXI3 IP Used For Memory Access Application

AXI3 is AMBA based SoC protocol that is used to synchronize tasks between master and slave devices. The work proposed here presents verification environment of byte-addressable memory with read-write operations integrated using AXI3 interface DUT. The verification was performed with constraint random and various directed test cases. The signal dependencies between handshake signals were verified via concurrent assertions. The error injection method was used to inject errors in design to authenticate the testbench. The coverage closure is done by sampling the coverage for each test case and 100% coverage was achieved with some exclusions. The simulation was carried out using Questasim.
