Energy Efficient Algorithms in Green Cloud Computing- A Comprehensive Study

Green cloud computing is becoming an increasingly popular approach for organizations aims- to decrease their environmental impact and energy costs. There are several challenges in achieving energy efficiency in green cloud and one of the important challenges are task-scheduling and resource-allocation approaches. In recent years, several energy-efficient task-scheduling and resource-allocation algorithms have been proposed to address these challenges. This work is to investigate strategies that enable energy-efficient in green cloud computing. A comprehensive study on energy efficient task-scheduling and resource-allocation algorithms is presented to identify the strengths and limitations of existing algorithms and highlight the areas for future research.
