This study suggests using a genetic algorithm to determine the shortest path between any two points on a map. The suggested method uses the longitude as well as the latitude of a present location to anticipate and pinpoint the closest cities and includes the ideas of the crossover and mutation to create novel approaches. The suggested genetic algorithm technique surpasses standard algorithms in terms of quality of solution and computing performance, according to experimental data. The suggested method gives a fresh answer to the shortest route on a map and sheds light on the application of genetic methods in this situation.
