Generic Construction of Key-Aggregate Searchable Encryption
Masahiro Kamimura, Kyosuke Yamashita, Naoto Yanai · 2023
A key-aggregate searchable encryption (KASE) scheme is an encryption scheme that enables a user to search plaintexts under their ciphertexts and control access to the ciphertexts for other users. This paper proposes a generic construction of KASE, which is an open problem for the design of KASE. Our generic construction consists of two common cryptographic primitives, i.e., digital signatures and public-key authenticated encryption with keyword search (PAEKS). We also prove that our proposed KASE scheme is secure if its underlying digital signature scheme and PAEKS scheme are secure.
