Bruno the Brake Car, is voiced by autistic actors Chuck Smith, 10, in the U.S. version, and Elliot Garcia, 9, in the U.K. show. Mattel Television, which produces the series, collaborated on the character with several organizations, including the Autism Self Advocacy Network (ASAN), Easterseals Southern California, and the U.K.’s National Autistic Society.
