Recently, the problem of discrete signals approximation has become increasingly relevant. Despite the fact that there are many papers published on this and related topics, research in this area is still being actively conducted. However, in the case of analogue signals, the opposite situation can be observed. Since the interest in analogue signal processing is currently growing, it makes sense to solve problems similar to those of digital signal processing. One of such tasks is the problem of analogue signal approximation. The currently developed apparatus for approximation of digital signals allows developing and investigating similar methods for analogue signals. One of these methods is the use of various operators and the study of the quality of their approximation of signals of certain classes. In this paper, we study the peculiarities of approximation of analogue signals described by functions from the Sigmund class, the Weierstrass operators, which are poorly studied.
