Parse values

If you have the data as text, you have to parse values the data into R data types. Categorical values in nominal categories are unordered factors, categorical values in ordinal categories are ordered factors, and discrete values are integer, continuous values numeric and all other character variables. Furthermore, for parsing values into multiple variables you might want to do some programming based on you variable specification.
