Metaverse: The future of virtual life

The term “Metaverse” refers to a collaborative virtual 3D world where all actions are eventually carried out utilizing augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology. These platforms have become popular during the pandemic as activities have shifted online. This refers to a post-reality cosmos that combines physical and digital virtuality. Metaverse is a fictional world where thousands and millions of people can act simultaneously and switch between different platforms. This paper summarizes about some of the literature studied, methods and tools used with some of the findings based on the social platforms and the interest shown in this virtual life globally.
