Machine Learning Techniques for Detecting and Mitigating DDoS Attacks in IoT

In today's developing world, all devices are becoming smarter and communicate with other devices. Recent innovations in technology and increased use of IoT systems has led to increase in the Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks causing harm to information being processed. Considering IoT networks, the dynamics of intruder activity require even better IDS models that can detect multiple attacks with higher detection rates and lower computing resource requirements. Fake requests (chat-bots) occupy the systems under DDoS attacks and actual users are deprived of the system services. In this article, we discuss different categories of D-DoS attacks with their impact on IoT
