With the development of autonomous driving technologies, Data Distribution Service (DDS) and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) are introduced into in-vehicle communication systems. However, how to combine DDS and TSN is rarely explored and lacks a general solution. In this paper, a TS-DDS mechanism is proposed, which configures TSN to achieve end-to-end deterministic communications after extracting DDS dataflows' parameters. Initially, the sending process, the receiving process, and the transmitting process of OpenDDS are analyzed, and a Quality of Service (QoS) mapping method between DDS and TSN is established. Subsequently, experiments verify that using IEEE 802.1Qbv in TSN can reduce the maximum latency of a DDS flow from millisecond-level to microsecond-level, enhancing the capability of DDS to carry in-vehicle applications.
