Abstract To describe a large part of the Z toolkit. To describe the use of schemas in the definition of generics. To provide further practice in the use of schemas. The primary aim of this chapter is to look at the facilities offered within the Z language. These facilities which include basic data types such as the natural numbers also include operations on set, function and sequence data types. The facilities are frequently referred to as the Z toolkit.
