Example: a two-point boundary value problem
Arthur G. Werschulz · 1991
Abstract We use a simple example of a two-point boundary value problem (Lu)(x) = -u"(x) + u(x) = f(x) u'(O) = u'(l) = 0. for O < X < 1, to illustrate major issues and concepts of information-based complexity. First, we must describe our problem more carefully. That is, we specify the problem formulation, permissible information, and a model of computation.
