Abstract We can use any digital fonts with LATEX or TEX. Most of these fonts were not designed with TEX in mind, so they need some preparation. Font installation refers to the process by which we reorganize the characters in the font and perform additional bookkeeping to make it usable by TEX. Font selection refers to the instructions we apply in a TEX document to select a certain font for typesetting.
