Topology, computer science, and the mathematics of convergence

Abstract At first sight, computer science and topology seem unlikely bedfellows. We show that they are linked by the idea of convergence: in computer science we are often interested in processes which converge, often in spaces which are, mathematically speaking, rather unconventional.
