Abstract GLIM is an acronym for Generalized Linear Interactive Modelling. It is a program specially designed to facilitate the fitting of generalized linear models (GLMs). Here we give a brief introduction to the data types handled by GLIM and to the types of statistical model which can be fitted. An outline of the structure of the User Guide is provided together with a brief description of the new facilities in GLIM.
