Elastic Multi-Structure

Abstract In this chapter we analyse a mixed boundary value problem for the Lame system in an elastic multi-structure which consists of a union of a three-dimensional domain and thin cylinders and has the same geometry as in Chapter 2. In addition, we assume that the number of thin cylinders exceeds two and that the junction points do not belong to the same straight line. Just for the sake of simplicity of presentation we assume that the cylinders have the same cross-sections.
