Design and Experiment of Silicon Racetrack-Loop Multi-Mode Waveguide Structure with Low-Loss and Adjustable Couplings for Compact Reservoir Computing Device

As a compact reservoir computing device, a silicon racetrack-loop multi-mode waveguide structure is studied from viewpoints of low-loss fan-in and adjustable fan-out coupling structures as well as memory effect. Structural design including novel triangular configurations are performed, and experimental characteristics with memory effect are demonstrated.
