Saliency Detection Algorithm of Targets in Rainy City Traffic Images

In rainy days, many features of targets are obscured in city traffic images, and the utility of the outdoor traffic system is severely affected. To improve the image quality, the features of targets in city traffic rainy images are comprehensively analyzed. The brightness feature, the color difference feature, and the dark channel prior feature are extracted to map the target saliency features in rainy images. The target saliency detection model based on the above features is constructed. Finally, performance evaluation experiments are performed on ten state-of-the-art algorithms through seven standard evaluation indicators. The experimental comparison results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
