Performance Comparison of Katalon Studio and Appium on Investree Application in Funding Module

This study aims to test the Investree mobile application, a peer-to-peer (P2P) investment platform that allows users to invest online. Mobile application testing is important to ensure the reliability, functionality and overall quality of the application. Software testing or software testing is the phase in which various aspects of the application such as quality, functionality, security and performance are tested to meet the needs and requirements of users. Katalon Studio is an automated testing platform that provides a wide range of features and capabilities to test applications thoroughly. Appium is a well-known automated testing tool specifically for testing Android and iOS based mobile applications. The comparison method is carried out by testing the Investree mobile application using Katalon Studio and Appium separately, and then comparing various aspects of the performance of the two. Performance aspects observed include test execution speed, tool stability, programmability and flexibility, integration with test management tools. The results of this comparison will provide insight into the advantages and disadvantages of each testing tool. This can assist developers and test practitioners in selecting tools that suit their needs for testing mobile applications.
