Recommenders for Improved Lesson Planning in Formal Education

This paper presents a system that combines a multi-recommender mechanism and an iterative algorithm to assist teachers in formal education in planning learning activities for students. It aligns with the latest educational trends, emphasising the central role of competencies. The system allows for initial planning based on specified competencies and knowledge, among other preferences. After that, it helps with alternative suggestions during the course when deficiencies in the learning of competencies are detected.
