Pareto-Based Differential Evolution Algorithm Using New Adaptive Mutation Approach

This paper proposes an extended version of differential evolutionary (DE) to deal the multi-objective optimization issue by incorporating a new adaption-based mutation operator. We have proposed a new mutation method with a Pareto-based differential evolution (PBDE) algorithm for non-dominating sorting. The process provides more diversity among candidate solutions. The new mutation operator provides more bandwidth concerning diversity, which enhances the convergence rate. In addition, this study employs a non-dominated sorting method to lower the temporal complexity of Pareto dominance The proposed work is evaluated comparatively with the latest variants of the standard multi-objective-based algorithm on six benchmark functions, such as the 2-objective and 3-objective test functions.
