Fuzzy Hierarchy Analysis Based Microservice Splitting Result Evaluation
Ke Zhao, Junfeng Zhao · 2023
With the rapid development of information technology and changing business requirements, monolithic legacy systems can become increasingly complex and difficult to maintain. The benefits of microservice architecture in solving some of the problems faced by traditional monolithic applications have led many organizations to choose to refactor monolithic systems into microservice architecture systems. Although many studies have been conducted on microservice refactoring, there is still room for further exploration in the evaluation of microservice unbundling results. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive multidimensional evaluation method, which uses five indicators: cohesiveness, coupling, reusability, entity convergence and use case convergence, and determines the weights of the evaluation indicators by using hierarchical fuzzy method.
