Wearable Design Innovations Enabled by Artificial Intelligence: A Technical Review

Wearable technology has become increasingly popular in recent years, offering a range of applications including health monitoring, personal assistance, and fitness tracking. Artificial intelligence (AI) has played a significant role in enhancing the capabilities of wearable devices, enabling intelligent perception, personalized recommendations, multimodal interaction, health monitoring, intelligent homes, and smart cities. This technical review paper presents an overview of the key technologies involved in wearable design and how AI has enabled innovative solutions in the field. Furthermore, this paper proposes novel wearable design innovations, which are supported by AI algorithms, such as deep learning and natural language processing.
