MaaS has become increasingly concerning due to the rise in Malware cases perpetrated by attackers that bought this service from providers in an underground marketplace. The Paper investigates multiple Malware as a Service (MaaS), examining their characteristics, operation models, and associated risks. We propose effective prevention techniques to counter the threats posed by these. The study uncovers a diverse range of MaaS, specializing in various types of malware and attack vectors. These MaaS’s services, offer convenience and advanced capabilities, enabling less technically skilled attackers to execute complex cyber-attacks. The prevention techniques emphasize implementing multi-layered security prevention and user education.
