Review of Machine Translation

Machine translation is the use of computers to automatically achieve translation between different languages. Machine translation technology reduces the difficulty of communication between speakers of different languages, alleviates the pressure of translators, and is conducive to the inheritance of languages with scarce resources. Firstly, the origin, implementation strategy and basic classification of machine translation are introduced. Then, different categories of machine translation are described, and the basic ideas, research progress, advantages and existing problems are summarized. Finally, the development trend of machine translation technology is forecasted.
