Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Multimodal Biometrics

This chapter presents machine learning and deep learning techniques for multimodal biometrics. Multiple biometrics have been used in this concept to enhance the recognition and authentication accuracy of the person for various applications. Various fusion-based machine learning and deep learning approaches using multimodal biometrics have also been discussed. Many fusion-based machines and deep learning approaches using multimodal biometrics outperformed the unimodal biometrics techniques for classification, recognition, and authentication tasks.
